Health and safety in Worship

Before Worship:

Home Health Assessment:  If anyone in your household is not feeling well for any reason or you suspect you have been exposed to COVID-19, please worship with us from home using any of our online worship services.

Registration: Pre-registration or checking in is not required at this time.  Ushers will register your attendance when you enter.  Guests will be asked to fill out an information card for contact tracing purposes.

Entry: Arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to your worship time. At High Street, you may enter from the following doors: High Street, Adams Street and the West Parking Lot (Elevator) entrance.  The elevator is operational.  At South Campus, please use the front entrance only.

Masks.  If you forget your mask, there are disposable masks available at each entrance.  Masks should be worn at all times.  Hand sanitizer is available throughout the church.

Seating: At High Street pews marked with a cross on the end are open for seating.   At South Campus chairs are already spaced out and your family can choose any section.  Ushers are available if you need additional chairs.

Children's Ministry: At South campus parents should check in children for children's church in the lobby before worship begins.  Children should be seated with their families until children's church begins.  At High Street children should exit the north stairwell after the service to attend Sunday school.

Social distancing should be practiced at all times.

During Worship:

High Street:  Hymnals, offering envelops, and Bibles have been removed from the pews. The bulletins will include the hymns and scripture. Offering envelops are located at each entrance next to the offering plates.  The offering plates will not be passed during service.  You may make your offering using our Push Pay App, or place it in the offering plate before or after the service.   On Sundays in which communion is offered, you will be given a disposable communion kit before service.  Please dispose of your used cup and bulletin when you leave.

South Campus:  Offering envelops are located at each doorway next to the offering plates.  The offering plates will not be passed during service.  You may make your offering using our Push Pay App, or place it in the offering plate before or after the service.   Children will be invited to children's church after the opening worship music.   Parents are also welcome to use our Family Care Room located behind the welcome desk if your child gets a little antsy during the service. The service is live-streamed into that room. On Sundays in which communion is offered, you will be given a disposable communion kit before service.  Please dispose of your used cup and bulletin when you leave.

After Worship:

When worship is over please limit fellowship to outside the facilities.  At High St, children attending Sunday school should use the north stairwell to make their way to Room 104.  At South Campus, parents should wait in the hallway for their children to be dismissed from children's church.

After use, each building is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
