youth summer mission trip - logan county, west virginia

june 21-26, 

Registration is open now for our youth summer mission trip!  


All students who have completed 8th -12th grade in the spring of 2026 are invited to our summer mission trip - a week of service, learning, worship, and fun.  This year, we are partnering with YouthWorks and heading to rural Appalachia in Logan County, West Virginia. 


In West Virginia, we will come alongside local churches and nonprofit organizations to serve through food distribution, children’s programs, minor home repair, painting, and yard work projects. Evening Activities will offer a glimpse into the unique culture and faith traditions of the area through a local church service and a trip to enjoy the beauty of the mountains at Chief Logan State Park. 

YouthWorks has partnered with this community since 2002.

important dates & cost Information


Total Trip Cost: $550

Your Cost: $350*

*Includes $100 scholarship from Missouri UMC Conference and $100 scholarship from New McKendree UMC


  • March 1 - $50 Deposit Due (follow link below)
  • April 1 - $300 Balance Due

Students & adult leaders may register after March 1 if additional spots are available with YouthWorks.  Deposits are non-refundable.

Registration

Step1 Pay $50 Deposit  - Paying the deposit reserves your participant's spot for the trip. Deposits are non-refundable.

  • When the form asks for Registrant Info, that is where you fill in the Parent Info 
  • When the form asks for Attendee Info, that is where you fill in the Participant's Info
  • If the participant is filling out the form for themselves, they need to check the box "I am registering myself."
  • You will be issued a ticket for this payment.  You can keep it for your records, but we don't need it.

Step 2:  Registration/Health Release Forms - Once your deposit is paid, you will receive an email with a special link to fill out the Youth Works forms.  


Step 3: Pay $300 Balance - You will receive an email with a link and reminders to pay the balance by April 1st.  Payments are non-refundable after April 1st.
