We want church to be a place where your entire family is encouraged to draw closer to Christ – kids and parents alike! That's why we offer fun and engaging environments where children can learn and grow in faith. All of our kids' programs are designed to be a safe place where children can learn new and exciting things about God while being led and cared for by adult volunteers from our congregation. It's our hope to encourage children to not only discover new things about God, but also begin to understand how those things matter in their own lives. We also understand that parents are the primary influence in a child's faith formation. This is why we provide resources to help parents bring what kids are learning in church to life at home.
At both, South Campus and High Street, we offer a Sunday school setting for children ages preschool through 5th grade. Children meet together for worship and the Bible story and then move to their Sunday school rooms for games and activities. These help children apply what they’ve learned to a life lesson that lay a foundation of faith and trust in their Creator. Because we use the same lesson themes on both campuses, children get the same level of engagement no matter which service they attend. At South Campus, Sunday School starts at 9 am. At High Street, Sunday School begins at 10:15 am.
At South Campus, during our 10:30 am worship service, we offer a special worship experience for kids preschool through 5th grade. Through fun group activities, children engage with their peers to learn more about faith, the Bible, and friendship. They also experience God's Word in an engaging ways and leave with more knowledge of Scripture. Kids lead kids in song and dance to celebrate God so they know how much He loves them.
GLOW stands for God Lights Our Way! GLOW is our ministry for 1st through 5th graders! They meet from 5:30-6:30 pm at South Campus on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday’s of the month. At GLOW, children experience worship, Bible story time, games, small group activities and discussion. Small groups are divided by grade and have the same small group leaders every meeting.
Family Nights – Every 5th Sunday we invite families to engage in discipleship together. Through worship, games, service projects, Bible study and family small groups, parents are able to have a guided example of how to disciple their own children.
We hope to resource parents with the tools and prompts they need to help bring to life the lessons their children are learning at church. It’s a simple truth that parents are the primary influence when it comes to faith development. Our strategy is to combine the family with the faith community to demonstrate the message of God’s story to influence the next generation.
Parent Cue - We want to remind parents why what they do is so important, to help them focus on what matters most, and to discover parenting along with them, so they know they're not in this alone. By downloading the Parent Cue App they’ll receive real time prompts that help every stage of parenting. We also send a monthly Parent Cue Email with suggestions for daily interactions with their child to connect with their lesson at church.
