We want church to be a place where your entire family is encouraged to draw closer to Christ—kids and parents too! That's why we offer fun and engaging environments where children can learn and grow in faith as well. All our kids' programs are designed to be safe places where children can learn new and exciting things about God while being led and cared for by adult volunteers from our congregation. It's our hope to encourage children to not only discover new things about God, but also begin to understand how those things matter in their own lives. We also understand that parents are the primary influence in a child’s faith formation. This is why we provide resources to help parents bring what kids are learning at church to life at home.
South Campus— Children's Church and Jam are meeting during worship! Families will check-in in the lobby at the registration table and receive their nametags and parent receipts and then be seated in the sanctuary. After the opening worship music, children will be dismissed. Children in 1st through 5th grades will go to Children’s Church. Kindergarteners and younger will go to JAM. Potty trained children are welcome to come to JAM —our “Little Jammers” (not potty trained yet)—will need to be accompanied by a parent. Parents are also welcome to use our new Family Care Room located behind the welcome desk if your child gets a little antsy during the service. The service is live-streamed in that room.
High Street—Children’s Sunday school classes are meeting following the worship service in the 1st floor of the education building. Families will check-in outside the worship room. Children in 5th grade and younger are invited. Potty trained children are welcome to come to JAM —our “Little Jammers” (not potty trained yet)—will need to be accompanied by a parent. All children are welcome to attend the worship service with their families. The sights and sounds of children are common and definitely welcome. We do have a newly renovated childcare room available for parents to use as needed during the worship service if their child gets a little antsy during worship. It's stocked with toys and supplies and is near the restrooms.
Hang tight while we look up scheduled events...

We’ve missed seeing your children and teens! Our hope was that during our time away we could help you disciple your children at home. While we’ll still be providing the Continue the Conversation Guides to help you talk about the weekly sermon at home, we recognize the influence that peers and caring volunteers have in your children's faith journey. So we’re so excited to be able to start children and youth ministry programs again.
We’ve talked with teachers and nurses in both Jackson and Cape schools that attend our church. They have given us great insight on the safety measures that our school leaders have taken so far that are allowing school to be in session. After consulting the Cape and Jackson School Covid-19 Re-Entry Plans and the Eagle Sky Camps CDC Implementation Summary, we came up with a plan. Our church leadership team has approved that plan and we’re ready to give this a go! We hope this guide helps you feel safe about your children attending our ministry activities. If you have any questions please just give me a call!
