Haiti Partnership and Upcoming Trip

New McKendree has an ongoing relationship with the community of Bwadjout, Haiti, and with Good Shepherd Orphanage.   A communion offering from earlier this year was added to some previous funds, and we have been able to send approximately $4,000 to Haiti to help with food and schooling for our partners. We will continue to raise money and support this vital ministry.

Unfortunately, due to Haiti's ongoing unrest, we cannot go there for a ministry trip. BUT, there is exciting news…We ARE going on a trip this summer! Many Haitians have traveled to the Dominican Republic. Our friends at Praying Pelican will partner us with a new community there in the D.R.
